The Beat Loafer - Black
Loafers were the trainers of the past. You broke them in, scuffed them, beat them half to death and then resoled them and carried on. As time goes on they get softer and mould to your feet better than any pair of plimsolls ever could. Over time they've gotten (understandably) expensive, and so we set out to bring back a loafer you can knock around in without worrying.
These loafers have been a passion project of ours for some time. We had a long list of requirements:
- European made, (we ended up making these Spain, in the historic shoemaking region of Elche)
- Properly welted construction (re-solable to your hearts content)
- 100% Leather upper, lining and sole (for the dancers and the want to be dancers)
- Under £100
These are perfect for a casual everyday loafer, or one to wear with a suit when you go for a dance. Like many loafers, these are an E fitting so a little on the narrow side.
