M65 Field Jacket, Vintage Army Surplus - OG107
The M65 Field Jacket is a legitimate menswear icon. First issued in 1965 for the Vietnam conflict, GIs returning home brought their M65s with them, and a counter-culture classic was born.
The M65 is a mid weight jacket, with drawstrings for ventilation, 4 roomy pockets, heavy brass Scovill zipper, and a concealed hood zipped inside the collar - "the Platonic Ideal of a jacket." as one of our customers put it. A description we enjoyed so much that we've decided to borrow it!
We are stocking these genuine un-issued M65 jackets, decades old but in perfect condition. Due to the relative rarity of M65s in un-issued condition, we are unfortunately only able to offer sizes XS and S at this time. These sizes are comparatively roomy however, please see our measurement table below.
