   I am 37 around the chest and I usually take the 38 size for jackets.

   So I bought this red Jump The Gun Harrington in 38.

   And the sizing is quite good, certainly not too slim : it compares with the Medium Ben Sherman Harrington for instance. And it is way less slimmy than then 38 current “classic” G9 which is clearly undersized around the waist !

   There is no such thing with the JTG 38, it looks good, not too slim, not too big, with enough room to put on a sweatshirt or a jumper. As noticed by another customer, the collar is rather big, but you get used to it quite fast. The fabric feels sturdy, but not heavy. The tartan lining feels and looks good too. The super smooth YKK Zipper is a nice finish touch and everything looks well made and robust enough in this jacket.

   The knitting, the fabric and the finish don’t look as clean as the Baracuta G9, there is no fancy double zipper here, but let’s face it : the JTG costs only quarter (!) of the G9 price, and still proudly wears a “Made in UK” tag ! I have no idea how JTG manages such a competitive achievement !

   If you want to brag around in town like a movie star, the Baracuta G9 is of course very fine. But the JTG Harrington is a well made, elegant, reasonable working man classic sport jacket, in the most noble sense of the terms – and with a very, very reasonable price tag.

   The color is bright, and a red jacket is not a usual clothe these days. So you won’t get unnoticed wearing this red JTG Harrington jacket. But you will certainly look elegant and cool too, as this garment will bring to the surface the classy Rebel Without A Cause which lays inside each of us !

   Emmanuel, we are used to, what I would term your quite comprehensive and detailed reviews, but I think you have surpassed yourself this time with your level of observation and attention to detail and sheer readability! Many thanks as ever.

   Great quality jacket, better than the alternative jackets I’ve tried on recently at similar or slightly higher price point.

   The jacket fits very well (not too loose like some) and has a good body & sleeve length too. (for reference I am 6ft 1, 41 inch chest, average build / no beer belly)

   Top marks to the Jump the Gun team – they offered friendly advice over the phone and I received the jacket less than 24 hours later !!

   I think good value for the price. Nice brilliant red, but the collars are a bit longer than other Harringtons so just be aware of that. I’m in Australia and it came quite quickly.

   Bought this for my son. Perfect fit! Excellent quality at a reasonable price. Great colour that looks ace with his jeans and black fred perry polo.

   Great service. I initially ordered the inset sleeve Harrington, but it was too big. JTG happily exchanged it for the raglan sleeve Harrington in a smaller size and it fits perfectly. Great quality and value and made in the UK too.
