Houston Jeans - Ecru Selvedge
Houston have been making military gear in Japan since the early days of the post-war repro scene, long before “heritage” became a marketing term. Originally established as Union Trading, they were the first company in Japan producing original flight jackets, and that same obsessive approach runs through their denim too.
These ecru selvedge jeans take their cues from WWII-era S501XX models, with a fit that sits somewhere around a classic 501 — straight legged, slightly higher rise, easy to wear with just about anything. Wide belt loops, hidden rivets, herringbone pocket bags and proper selvedge construction throughout. One-washed and sun-dried for a softer hand and a slightly uneven texture that feels convincingly old straight out the bag.
