Our brand new Oxford shirt is a tailored fit - a sixties style shirt that still fits the body of the 2020s. Featuring our usual details of a 3-finger button down collar, darts and a sewn in box-pleat. All in a lovely crisp, tightly woven Oxford cotton.
Why six buttons? Attention to detail, of course! Nearly every shirt you’ve ever owned will have 7 buttons, so what’s the big deal? With a six-button placket, the distance between the buttons is slightly greater, meaning when the top button is left undone, our button down collar lays perfectly into the ‘angel wing’ shape of the button downs of decades past - exactly the sort of nearly imperceptible extraneous detail we chat about all day in the shop!
